Hubby and I had been running errands and looking for a great late lunch option to take our baby and goldendoodle. We happen to see this location nearby and decided to stop in for outdoor dining! Stopping in I noticed all the ordering was on a touchscreen, which I hadn't seen before. I would definitely recommend this nice Folsom location! We ordered the Bistro French Onion and Creamy Tomato Soup Bread Bowls. My husband, our baby and I loved our late lunch! Great service! We're looking forward to returning soon to try more of their varied menu! SYOY! :-) *Song Credit: Came Like Thunder by Rob Fevas ⁣⁣⁣

Came in on a Friday morning and got a small iced decaf with the teriyaki bowl. I loved it. Everyone was efficient and lovely, bathrooms are well-kept. I personally love that they have their ingredients listed online so you can see what goes into everything.

I've been to this location about six or seven times in the past decade, most recently October 1, 2023. Overall, my experiences have been good. There is a free parking garage for the Palladio (plaza) right next to the Panera, and I have always been able to find parking close by. The Panera has been clean, never too busy, and comes with a ton of outdoor seating, as many restaurants feature in this tony plaza. There are also four self-service ordering machines at the entrance. The fresh-baked bread and pastries have always been well stocked, even later in the day. The Wi-Fi has also been reliable and fast with plenty of tables with electric receptacles in case you need to charge a phone or plug in your laptop. When I was taking pictures of the large menu placed on the wall behind the registers, an employee even came from the kitchen, ready to assist me. I usually order self-service, but I have noticed the line has never been too busy and employees are quick to take your order. My one complaint is because of a clueless employee, I would call her. I ordered a pastry on October 1 for dine in. She placed it in a paper pouch and handed it to me. I said to her I ordered it for dine in. She it was ready for dine in. Now normally, at other Panera Breads, for pastries for dine in, they serve them to you on a plate with utensils. She asked me what I needed, and I said a fork and knife. I just assumed she would hand me a plate too, because you don't normally eat with utensils on a bare table or napkin. But she didn't hand me one. I didn't feel like giving her more instructions, so I just took the utensils. It was not a huge deal, but I left underwhelmed. She was young, so I'll give her a pass, but that's why I took off one star. Panera Breads have been pretty much the same everyway I have been to. This one was no different. I would go here again.

The Panera Bread is located in the Palladio shopping complex in Folsom, CA. It is tucked away next to the parking structure alongside East Bidwell Street. The front door is next to the parking structure while the back door is along the sidewalk next to Flame n Fire restaurant. It is a bit off the main drag but worth stopping in if your in the mood for sandwiches, warm bowls, flatbread pizzas, salads, soups, pastries, and coffee drinks. My favorites are the Napa chicken salad sandwich, Greek salad, flavored iced teas, pastries, and turkey chili. I am pretty obsessed with their chicken salad sandwich. It is chuck full of chicken. It had slivered almonds, grapes, and celery. It is not made with mayo instead they make their own signature dressing. The dressing is fantastic. It has a bunch of flavor and healthier than mayo. The sandwich is served on sliced sourdough with sliced tomatoes and a fresh leaf lettuce. I never really liked chicken salad sandwiches until I had theirs. Plus the sliced baguette, that is offered as a side with the entrees, is delicious. It is beautifully baked with a crisp crust and soft fluffy interior. For folks not familiar with Paneras. It is franchise eatery with casual, counter service. The menu is pretty standard to all Paneras. If you do not want to order with the cashier, you can order at the self help kiosk. The pickup counter is towards the middle of the eatery equal distance from the front and back entry. They have an indoor dining area and outdoor patio. The outdoor patio overlooks East Bidwell and the traffic noise is noticeable. But not at eardrum busting levels.
